Trust
What "Trusted maker" means
The badge says a maker's numbers are verified and their record is clean. It's checked automatically every night, and a person at gosponsored confirms each maker's first badge.
A Trusted maker has
- an account that is at least 60 days old;
- a published page, and a way to get paid: Stripe set up to take payments, or payout details gosponsored has checked;
- a verified audience on a property with a sponsor slot: Plausible, Google Analytics, DataFast or PostHog connected, or gosponsored's own "Counted by gosponsored" numbers from at least 14 days of the widget, and no self-reported numbers on the page;
- the widget live with at least 14 days of data and 1,000 displays in the last 30 days;
- a clean record: no disputed payment, no ad taken down and no page taken offline by gosponsored in the last 90 days;
- healthy slots: none stopped loading in the last 30 days.
If something slips
A maker who stops meeting a criterion keeps the badge for 7 days to fix it. After that the badge comes off, and it comes back on its own once everything passes again. A disputed payment, a takedown or a suspended account removes it right away.
Numbers under review
We also look for numbers that don't add up, such as analytics connected for another site. A person at gosponsored reviews anything unusual; a flag on its own never removes a badge.
When makers can earn it
Because accounts need to be 60 days old, no one can show the badge before their account is about two months old.
The badge shows on the maker's page and at checkout. It never appears inside the sponsor widget on the maker's own site.
